In the evenings immerse yourself into village life with a choice of good family pubs most serving quality food or just stroll along the pretty village quay. The accommodation is arranged over THREE floors and offers THREE bedrooms: situated on the first floor 1 double with en-suite shower WC and lovely views 1 double and 1 twin. Bathroom: family size with shower over and WC. Additional WC on ground floor. Appledore is a small fishing village at the mouth of the river Torridge in North Devon and is a popular holiday destination. It's quay runs alongside the estuary which heads out to the open sea, and along the quayside fresh caught fish can be bought directly from the local fishermen. Above the quay the quaint village is comprised of many narrow lanes and cottages. Appledore has become a focal point for local artists, many of whose works may be purchased from the numerous art and craft shops in the village.
